Hi!
I have the luxury to write this to you all in the comfort of my air-conditioned kitchen which at the moment is a cool-ish 77 degrees compared to the 104 feels like 110 that is currently outside. Let me be r-e-a-l honest here for a moment and say that while I am a summer-loving girl, I do not appreciate the baking oven feeling outside. A baking oven is used for making cookies and cupcakes. Not outside temperatures. That being said however, it is summer time and this weekend will be the start of July already. That is crazy. Crazy also describes my life at the moment--my world is essentially the same as a three ring circus in which I am the lion tamer. I am not complaining about it because I really don't think I would be happy with it any other way, but I say the lion deserves a few weeks vacation! Oh well.... let's get to it!
Colorado.
Please keep Colorado in your thoughts and prayers as there are numerous wild-fires destroying not only the beautiful mountains, but homes and buildings as well. There is a fire in Colorado Springs right now that was very close to my Dad's house, but for the moment appears to be heading north which doesn't help the people that way, but that means it should miss my Dad's house. They have evacuated the Academy and several different parts of the Springs and surrounding areas but please just keep them all in your thoughts and prayers--we really appreciate it!
Emmalyn.
Dear Sweet Emmalyn-- we are patiently awaiting your arrival but we feel like you should just come on out and visit us! Your momma also agrees because 110 degrees doesn't sit well with us non-pregnant folks so I can only imagine how she feels--show her some mercy :) My mom and I have looked at the full moon schedule and it shows that the next full moon will be July 3rd which is right there next to your due date. Your momma had another check-up today and she is starting to see some progress so fingers crossed you are ready to meet us soon! We can't wait to meet you! We love you!
This Weekend.
This weekend will be the end of June and the beginning of July--CRAZY! But that also means that I will be in Kansas City running the Color Run which I hear is super fun! I can't wait! Expect some pictures from that!! :) Cam will not be joining me in Kansas City because he decided that going wheelin' would be more fun that a 6 hour car-ride and standing around--I guess I can't blame him :) He will be going to Tuttle Creek in Manhattan with a bunch of friends and co-workers for the day which he will love!
4th of July.
One of my favorite holidays! Can't wait!
I also got to go out and visit my Momma for a little while at the beginning of this week which was awesome! Wish I could get to do it more :( But I love spending time with her and am excited for Emmalyn to get here so she can come stay for a little while! This post is pretty short because if I wrote about everything going on in my circus you would be reading a novel--but I will write again soon! :)
It's Almost Friday!

Fun in the Sun-Father's Day Style
Hello!
I just wanted to add some more details about our last week...as you all know we went to the Zoo on Saturday, then we celebrated Father's Day on Sunday, and then celebrated our anniversary on Monday. In my last post I only mentioned the Zoo and our anniversary so I'm back-tracking a little bit to talk about Father's Day and add some pictures...we spent the day with Mr. Kerry and then we went to Aunt Kelly and Uncle Ed's house to celebrate Brooke's birthday as well as Father's Day...I was bummed I wasn't able to spend it with my Dad as well but I did get to talk to him on the phone. We got my Dad a nasty all edge brownie pan that makes it to where each piece has four edges making all the pieces edge pieces versus the traditional pan where there are only 4 corner/edge pieces. Nasty. We also got him some running socks that I think he likes :) For Cam's Dad, Cam made him a special grate that fits into their outside firepit that Kerry had been wanting for a long time :) I also wished my brother a Happy Father's Day as he joins that crew here very soon! So after we went to church/lunch and then chilled at the Cox's we went to Kelly and Ed's. While there I took some pictures...
Here's Con Con being Con Con :)
Cam rocking his cut-off polo shirt with his Aunt Kelly ....
Kerry and ConCon had fun getting Isaac...turns out his is ticklish!
Group Picture-- The whole crew!
Cam's Fam on his Dad's side! His Aunt& Uncle, cousins, and the kids...
And I will leave you all with this sweet pic of the bro bros....
Hope you have a great rest of the week!

Zealous for the Zoo!
This past week we were able to go to the Sedgwick County Zoo for the Airbus Family Picnic (Cam's work) and I was pretty excited to go because I had never been to that zoo. Cam and I got there early so we could look around and it was a pretty cool zoo. We made it through all the exhibits that were open; I think the Jungle exhibit was the only one closed for renovations so I didn't miss out on much! I thought about taking my good camera to take some pictures but on second thought I decided I didn't want to hang onto it all day [Plus I didn't want to creep out Cam's co-workers :) ]. So instead I took pictures on my phone so the quality isn't anyway near my Canon but I will share some pictures anyway!
Here we are at one of the exhibits...it turned out to be a pretty good day for the zoo...overcast and cool for the most part. It wasn't until the afternoon that we got really hot walking around.
This little guy was down for the count! Alright..he's not so little. BUT very cool to look at!
This was one of the best parts of the day--while we were walking from exhibit to exhibit we noticed a whole line of geese that were walking in a straight single file line so Cam went to the front to lead them. His leadership skills with geese could use some attention though because not long after he jumped in front their formation fell apart and they all started wandering around! It was too funny!
These birds are just beautiful with their bright blue color!
These guys were just as pretty with all their different colors though!
And last but not least a picture of what my brother looks like when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. KIDDING! This little guy was pretty stinking cute too!
Overall we had a great time and got to check out some pretty cute animals and hang out with a few of Cam's coworkers so I would call my first trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo a success!
{One last little note--Cam and I also got to celebrate our 2nd anniversary this past week and we had a great day! Cam surprised me with Panera's for breakfast and informed me that he was also staying home from work so we could hang out! I went to my work out class in the morning and he went to the shop while I was in class then we went out to lunch and did some shopping and even went to see a movie
(The Avengers--which was SO good!) Here's a picture (from my phone again--sorry!) ....we took it while we were waiting for our movie to start!}
I even wore a dress! I think the world did shudder a little when I put it on though... ;)
Hope you all have a great night!

When Cam and I saw this it made us think of my cousin Sarah who really likes Peacocks...the colors were amazing!

Sweet Summertime
Sweet Sweet Summertime! Summertime is one of my favorite times of the year and I love the sun, pool time, flip flops, and cold drinks that go with it! One of my not so favorite things though is the humidity that we have had here lately. It can go away as far as I'm concerned! But hey if that's all I can complain about then life is good! Which it is! :) This summer is shaping up quite nicely and things are going to start happening soon! Let's Commence Countdown!
1. T-minus 4 days: I would like to wish my Daddy a very Happy Father's Day this weekend--I'm thankful for all the adventures! :) Love you! Te' Te'
2. T-minus 4 days: I would also like to wish a Mr. Kerry Cox a very Happy Father's Day this weekend as well! You are pretty lucky to have me as your daughter in law! I wouldn't just be anyone's daughter in law you know :) (I'm writing this in a teasing fashion!)
*I guess I should be politically correct and include a Mr. Thomas Beeson in this category--hope you have a great Father's Day as well--next year will be a little more exciting!* :)
3. T-minus 5 days: I would like to wish Cam a very Happy 2nd Anniversary this coming Monday--these past two years have gone by in the blink of an eye! I Love You Cammy C!
4. Today: Baby Momma had another appointment and the Doctor said Emmalyn is staying put for a little while longer! Which is fine by us but her Momma is about ready for her to make her appearance!
5.Therefore T-Minus 21ish days: Little Miss' Due Date!
6. T-Minus 17 days: I will be doing the Color Run in Kansas City with some friends!
7. T-Minus 21 days: I will also be running the Firecracker Run here in Derby on July 4th--why you might ask? So I can eat more dessert that afternoon of course!
8. T-Minus 24 days: Until my HALF BIRTHDAY! I might just have to get myself an ice cream cake for that occasion! (Cam's is T-Minus 25 days until his half birthday!) We could potentially be celebrating Emmalyn's arrival those days as well-just depends!
9. T-Minus 59 days : If my calculations are correct, it will be Bubby's birthday!
10. T-Minus 63ish days: We leave for France! We still haven't gotten the official word on what day we will leave but it will be around then!
So after reading through this list I noticed that a lot of the things I've mentioned are for me--let me explain by saying that I love to plan ahead so I know things like countdowns--Cam on the other hand plans a little bit as well but he is a little more fly by the seat of his pants kinda guy so he has stuff going on this summer too, he just doesn't countdown to it like I do! :) So hopefully he will join me for that Firecracker Run and I know he wishes everyone a Happy Father's Day too and he is getting excited for Little Miss Emmalyn to arrive! With that I will finish up today's post--I don't have any pictures to add today but I will take some more in the next few weeks as these events occur! Hope everyone is staying somewhat cool and has a great rest of the week!
Love,
J
