Our Adventures Begin...

Welcome to our blog!    I would like to take a minute and welcome you to our blog--Cameron and I have a BIG summer coming up with lots of adventures that I wanted to document and share with family and friends!  So let's jump right in!  As I'm sure most of you know, my name is Jenn.  My full name is Jennifer, but I will respond to basically anything but that!  I love to talk, go for a run, and travel.  My husband's name is Cameron and he is my co-conspirator in our adventures.   Cameron loves to go off-roading with our truck "Gertie", build and fix trucks, and participate in extreme sports like snowboarding and wakeboarding. We began our first adventure almost 7 years ago when we started dating.  We are coming up on our second wedding anniversary this summer (whew! Times flies!)...and I can't wait for the next several decades of adventures together!

Okay....so enough about us for now!  On to the good stuff--our adventures for this summer! We have several planned;  

-Big Adventure #1-

Trip to Oregon and California-May 2012

We will be spending almost two weeks visiting Cameron's Grandma Sondra and her husband Mike in Oregon and then heading south to my family in California for my cousin's vow renewal.  We fly from Kansas to Oregon (good grief--it will take us 3 flights in one day to get there!) and spend a few days in Medford, Oregon.  Then we will get a rental car and head south to Windsor, California.  We will be spending the rest of our trip there.  Be prepared for lots of pictures from now on--for Christmas this past year I got an amazing new camera that will be accompanying us on all these adventures!

-Big Adventure #2-

I AM GOING TO BECOME AN AUNT THIS SUMMER!!!!!! (and CAMERON IS GOING TO BECOME THE ONLY UNCLE--HE'S A LITTLE EXCITED :) (OKAY--A LOT EXCITED!)

The second big adventure will be arriving around the 4th of July! My brother Tommy and his girlfriend Shayna (a.k.a. Baby Momma) are expecting a litle girl!  I do know her name already, but we are doing a big reveal at her baby shower in a few weeks so I will update you guys then! We already have bets going on how big she will be, when she will get here, and what type of food Baby Momma will want after giving birth--stay tuned for a winner for that as well! 

Here's one of the first sono pictures they got!  I need to get the new ones on my computer so I can update it! That's our niece! <3 Love her so much already! (and have some sweet outfits for her too!)





 So so far we have two adventures listed for you guys, but we have another one that we can't tell you about yet!  It's being finalized as we speak so as soon as I get the final word on it I will post it here!  And for all the optimists out there-NO, it is not a baby for Cameron and I.  It involves several planes, our passports, and probably some kind of intervention in order to get me there!

My original title for this blog was going to be "Letters to Grandma", but I changed it at the last minute...so I might start some blogs off with "Dear Grandma"...just wanted to give you some background on it :)
